Replacing static images with video can improve click through rates by 9 times

Ad solution provider Media Mind in their study of web users
in North America found out:
- People that were exposed to banners that included online video were about 5.6 times likely to visit a marketer’s site compared to the ones that saw a standard banner.
- Including Video made users 9 times more likely to click on an ad.
- Web users that didn’t click on the brand’s video ad at first were twice more likely to click on it when exposed later compared to standard banners.
Emarketer projects that video ad
spending will go up by 54.7% this year as brands turn to video.
